Both highly accomplished in their individual careers, their collaboration brings a unique fusion of creativity, versatility, and excellence across a wide range of musical genres.
Broadway: Remi Music Group has instructed current and former students that have been featured in a wide range of Broadway productions, including The Outsiders, Romeo & Juliet, The Music Man, Mrs. Doubtfire, A Bronx Tale, Annie, The Lion King, and A Christmas Story. These roles have allowed students to showcase their vocal, acting, and dance abilities on some of the world’s most prestigious stages.
Off-Broadway & Regional Theater: The success of Remi Music Group’s past and current students extends beyond Broadway, with performances in regional theater productions of Trevor the Musical, Moana, Annie, Frozen, Matilda, 13 the Musical, Into the Woods, The Little Mermaid, The Wizard of Oz, Billy Elliot, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Fun Home, and Anastasia.
Television and Film: Remi Music Group has also made their mark on small and big screens, guiding students who have appeared in major TV shows like FBI and Glee. REMI also attributes Badiene Magaziner, master voice teacher based in NYC, for playing a crucial role in guiding REMI on effective strategies for teaching students, helping shape a more impactful learning experience.
Ruobing (Ru) Zhang is a multifaceted artist whose work spans the realms of piano, voice, musical theater, and martial arts, with numerous accolades across each domain. Ru’s impressive career has been built on a unique fusion of artistic expression, rigorous training, and diverse cultural influences. A dual-degree graduate of The Juilliard School, Ru earned both his Bachelor's (2020) and Master's (2022) degrees in Piano and Collaborative Piano, making him one of the most well-rounded and successful musicians of his time.
Ru’s artistry has earned him recognition as a pianist, singer, teacher, and musical theater director. At the age of 14, he took the stage to perform Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 at the World Piano Competition, where he won both First Place and the prestigious Grand Prize. That same year, he claimed First and Grand Prize again at the 2012 US Youth Talent and Art Competition. A few years later, he recorded his debut classical piano album under China Record Corporation—the country's most celebrated label. Ru's other credits include winning the Grand Prize of Beijing's International WaterCube Vocal Reality Show, and performing at a variety of prestigious venues: Feinstein's/54 Below, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and the Times Square Ball Drop.
As a teacher, Ru has trained both vocalists and pianists to reach their fullest potential. Many of his students have reached the Broadway stage and received acceptances to prestigious colleges. Currently, he serves as a visiting faculty member at The Juilliard School, where he instructs dancers in musical theater.
In his role as a musical theater director, Ru has worked with institutions such as City College Academy of the Arts and The Bronx Science and Technology Academy, where he music-directed productions of In the Heights (2018), Rent (2019), Mamma Mia (2021), and Once on This Island (2022) in New York City.
Whether on stage, in the classroom, or behind the scenes, Ru pushes the limits of music and performance, blending tradition and innovation in everything he does.
Emily L. Stanton, a versatile artist with a passion for music, performance, and education, is known for her work in opera, musical theater, film, and piano. A graduate of Wheaton College Conservatory of Music and Mannes School of Music (The New School) in NYC, Emily earned her Bachelor's (2021) and Master's (2023) in Voice Performance. Emily’s classical training is complemented by her expertise across genres like pop, musical theater, and film composition.
At just 16, Emily achieved a remarkable milestone by writing, recording, and performing her original song for the film Unbelievable!!!, a project with a star-studded cast and numerous Star Trek alumni.
Emily’s work in the world of film and television has led her to collaborate with some of the most respected names in the industry. She had the privilege of working with Gerald Fried, the legendary composer behind some of the iconic scores in the original Star Trek series, Gilligan's Island, Mission: Impossible, etc. In addition, Emily recorded and performed with the New Mexico Symphonic Band and Dave Grusin, the celebrated composer whose work in film and television has earned him numerous awards.
Emily’s stage credits include lead roles in operas like The Marriage of Figaro, L'Orfeo, and Così fan tutte, as well as principle roles in musicals such as The Light in the Piazza, In the Green, This Land of Ours, The Sound of Music, and Annie. Her acting range spans dramatic and comedic theater, with roles in Shakespeare in Love and The Merry Wives of Windsor. Emily also won first place in the prestigious Wheaton College Concerto Competition.
Beyond performing, Emily is a passionate educator, having started teaching piano as a teenager and later expanding to voice and songwriting. She is also experienced in German, English, French, and Italian diction, which enriches her teaching of classical repertoire. Emily’s work in the studio, on stage, and in the classroom continues to leave a lasting impact on the music world and the students she mentors.

Known for his ability to "sample" any and all office snacks, edible or not, he ensures no morsel goes to waste (even if it wasn’t meant for him). With a strong track record of clearing desks and trash cans alike, Nugget is committed to maintaining a zero-food-waste policy, even if it means taking a bite out of your lunch. When he’s not perfecting his technique of stealthy snack retrieval, Nugget enjoys long naps and plotting his next culinary conquest.
